David Friend - Managing Director
David Friend is Managing Director and sole owner of Shared Services Solutions which manage membership and merchandise programs.

David’s career history has primarily been in merchandise as a retailer holding many senior management positions at Myer and other retailers over many years. His career moved into sport where he was General Manager of Merchandise and Membership of both the Hawthorn and St Kilda Football Clubs in the AFL.

David left the AFL Clubs in 2005 when he set up Shared Services Solutions.

David’s key Shared Services Solutions Clients being NRL, A League Clubs, NBL, Liberal Party Victoria, PGA Golf, Moonee Valley Racing and many others.

David’s successful results history is clearly shown throughout this website.

Deb Pascoe –Merchandise/Membership Manager
Deb was Merchandise Coordinator at St Kilda Football Club for two years until May 2006 coordinating turnover of $1.4 million in sales. Deb was formally customer service representative for Westpac Banking Corp where she developed strong customer service and administration skills. Deb is Buying Coordinator for all Shared Services Solutions Clients. Deb works closely with the team on all Membership activities and also manages our Membership selling events on Match days. Deb was the Shared Services Solutions Merchandise Manager for Melbourne Victory for 4 years, Shared Services Solutions Merchandise Buying Coordinator for North Melbourne Football Club, Shared Services Solutions Merchandise Coordinator for the Dalai Lama Australian tour, coordinated Merchandise buying and logistics of AFL games on the Gold Coast for 4 years Netball Australia, Sorceries, A League along with other major events

Janita Friend – Brand/Communications Manager
Janita Friend has over 15 years of public relations experience and has worked across sectors as diverse as hotels, art, real estate , fashion, sport, automotive and theatre and more recently as the General Manager, Public Relations, Brand and Communications for children’s charity Make-A-Wish Australia. She has experience not only in public relations but also in social media strategy and implementation brand development, crisis management, marketing, sponsorship, training and events and is a qualified coach and trainer.

During her time as brand manager with Make-A-Wish Australia, the charity was named by Make-A-Wish International as the leader in brand development. As well as working with Shared Services Solutions Janita runs her own PR and social media business, Best Friend PR and Marketing, and a life coaching practice, Janita Friend Designer Lives.

Graham Crossan – Creative Director
Graham comes from a background in advertising, having worked on three continents with some of the largest multi-national agencies. In recent years he has overseen the creative elements of many sporting club membership programs. Working closely with David Friend, Graham has made major contributions to the efforts with Hawthorn FC, St Kilda FC, Melbourne Victory, Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne Storm. This has included developing the initial creative approach, then seeing this through to the implementation of brochures, membership slogans and the letters that are essential in convincing supporters to become financial contributors of the clubs.
